Elected in 2009. Spokesperson for Communities, Fenland and Libraries. Susan has lived in Foxton and Meldreth since 1988. Before being elected to the county council, Susan first represented Meldreth and Shepreth at South Cambs District Council. She and her husband are naturalized British citizens; their three children are tri-national British, American and Dutch and have grown up attending local village schools. Susan has written a book on American anti-terrorism legislation, and runs an after-school writing programme at Melbourn Village College.
