First elected in 1993. Chairman of Adult, Health and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee and a member of the Cambridgeshire Fire Authority.
Geoff is a funeral director. He has a lifetime interest in the work of the Fire & Rescue Service across the world - with regular visits abroad to examine different services, service delivery plans, fire station development etc. He is a voluntary fund-raiser for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) giving talks to a variety of organisations on their work. As a Trustee of Age Concern Cambridgeshire, he is very concerned with the ongoing welfare of a growing elderly population.
